though for its own post because this sweater is “THE sweater”. Just like last
year, where Kate Moss ended the catalogue with a super cute pastel jumper, in this
fall catalogue she rocks with this zebra printed jumper available from this
October 31th. Tomorrow!!

I know how
hard it is to be satisfied with want we have. Maybe it’s a psychological
problem but I’m always in need of something. What is it now? I reeeeeeaaaaally
need some new pair of black sunglasses. I always end up buying brown ones because
I think it looks good on my skin but now it’s time to advance to a black pair.
The problem is which ones to choose.

A new section I’m
starting today only about music. I will post the music that at the moment is
running through my veins, that makes me dream, chill, imagine everything is
possible. No matter if sad, funny, techno or rock and roll music is one of
life´s best gems.
I love Florence
and the machine and Florence Welch in particular. If you read my blog you know she
is one of the “Girls I really like” section. This music with the new dance music
phenomenon, Calvin Harris, is awesome. Makes me wanna dance, roll my body and
my head and just spin around. How good is this? Great!

I was looking for a necklace with dark red stones. I saw some that
I liked but none made my heart
beat fast. When I saw this Zara necklace
I thought to myself: That’s it! This is
the one! It is a strong statement necklace but it´s beautiful
and very original.
When we look at
a wedding picture the first thing we put our eyes on is at the bride´s dress.
No matter if the bride is beautiful or ugly, slim or fat, attention is always
turned into the dress. Now multiply this fact when the bride is rich and
famous!
As you know Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel got marry a couple of days ago and I came across the cover of People Magazine that has the picture of the beautiful couple. At first I wasn’t sure if it was a real picture of the wedding, when I realized it was I spent some good seconds looking and Jessica without quite knowing what to think. A pink dress? Pink?? I have never imagined Jessica choosing a pink wedding dress with plenty of tulle to make a whole class of ballerina’s dresses.
I always think Jessica would be gorgeous on her wedding day. Probably wearing some dramatic and at the same time femme fatal Ellie Saab or Valentino dress. Not a romantic Cinderella pink dress.
To prove my point I post some pictures of Jessica’s most perfect looks. She could have done any of them right? In white of course….

This lady has the gift of taking the stage of all red carpets. It would be easy
to name not only one but several stunning looks used by her but this one, Oh
My!

night, when Marion Cotillard walked with this magnificent Jean Paul Gaultier
model eyes were glued on this white and silver mermaid inspired. The dress was printed with fish scales and laboriously hand-embroidered.
Undoubtedly a piece of art!

I couldn’t pass the Portugal
Fashion Summer 2013 show without making my list of favorites. Portuguese
fashion is definitely growing and it’s good to know that the crisis is not blocking
designer´s creativity.
Congrats
to everybody involved; designers, brands, it’s not easy to do fashion in this
country, so you all have my sympathy. But of course I enjoy some collections
more than others. These are my favorites.
Alves/Gonçalves: Very
minimalist, though elegant and feminine as always. Maybe
some lack of color but I quite like the straight lines and cuts.
Carlos Gil: A very feminine collection. I like the pastel colors and the flowery. The
dresses are beautiful.
Diogo Miranda: My favorite! I loved everything!
The colors, the models, the originality,
the fusion of styles .... Everything!
Filipe Oliveira Baptista: Filipe´s collection are
always good, this one is nice, not great though. I enjoyed the patterns and the
mix of colors the most.
Ricardo Preto for MEAM: It´s a very summery
collection. Simple, beautiful and very commercial which is also important.
João Melo Costa: From all the rookies this
one is my favorite. Although very dark I can find
some originality. I like the
fabric and the creativity of some models.
