Remember this? Cate Blanchet’s lilac Givenchy dress

To some people it was the night´s hit to others though it was a disaster. This Givenchy Couture dress worn by Cate Blanchett at the 2011 Oscar ceremony was the buzz of the evening.

I personally loved the dress and looked beautifully in Cate. I am suspicious because I love this actress but regardless the preferences I consider this dress super original, beautiful and stunning.
The pleated lilac chiffon gown embroidered with pearls details! And the yellow over the lilac doing such a cool contrasting color. How fantastic!

Actually all Givenchy 2011 spring collection was absolutely amazing. One of the most original and creative collections in my personal opinion.

Florence Welch and Liv Tyler, two other celebrities wearing this amazing collection. The one worn by Florence could be a “Remember this” too; I loved this dress so much.

A new section I’m starting today only about music. I will post the music that at the moment is running through my veins, that makes me dream, chill, imagine everything is possible. No matter if sad, funny, techno or rock and roll music is one of life´s best gems.

I love Florence and the machine and Florence Welch in particular. If you read my blog you know she is one of the “Girls I really like” section. This music with the new dance music phenomenon, Calvin Harris, is awesome. Makes me wanna dance, roll my body and my head and just spin around. How good is this? Great!

Girls I Really Like: Florence Welch

Florence... the name by itself is already elegant, mysterious, and sensual. Florence Welch, the lead singer of the English band Florence and the Machine, is all this and much more. She is one of those people that when you look at her you can’t see anything else. Just like in her videos, she is a little bit enigmatic and her image makes us dizzy and static at the same time.

She is not only known for her immaculate voice but also for her cute red locks. Even though she is actually a brunette in real life. But who cares right?

I cant say that I love everything she wears, actually some outfits are a bit crazy sometimes, but I cant also say I don’t like it, because on her even a weird piece of clothe looks like art.
