Messy hair is not synonymous of beauty disinterest anymore.

The short hair celebrity trend

I don’t know why but every celebrity is cutting their locks! The pixie haircut is definitely a trend lately.

Miracle curls. Should I believe?

by , in
Rowenta So curls and Babyliss miracurl

Since my hair is long I love doing waves, but it bothers me the time it takes to do it. I’m a little clumsy doing it to myself and even though my hair is super straight I have a lot what takes forever to get a final result.

Ice Ice Baby

For those who know me well enough this might be really odd but if I had the courage to do it I would love to try this hair color.

Wet Hairstyle

Tame your hair in the rain

If there’s one thing that really pisses me off during fall it’s the rain. The more I try I can never get my hair properly brushed in these days, no matter how many anti-frizz products I try.

Mermaid hair waves

by , in
You don’t need any fishtail... just big and fluffy curls!

If in the last two years all we heard about were beach waves, this summer the hair trendis all about mermaid waves. But what’s the difference between the two?

Headbands Style

by , in
A trend I will try to follow more this Summer

Some say the headbands trend started along with Gossip Girl character Blair Waldorf, played by Leighton Meester. I don’t know if it’s true but in fact it girls and celebrities started using this accessory more often after the show began.

Have fun with your hair with temporary colour locks!

I know this is not a trend that suits everybody but why not go on a crazy night out with your friends and play with your hair colour? Or once the new year´s eve is almost there it’s the perfect time to make a difference!

Tuck your hair with your clothes

by , in
Is your hair long and sometimes you don’t know what to do with it? Some designers have thought about that problem of yours and tried to solve it. How? By making outfits where that little detail was not forgotten.

Take a look at these three suggestions from top designers such as Karl Laggerfeld, Alexander Wang and Martin Margiela.

Me, I think I still prefer the classic pony tail though lol

Chanel used chain necklaces not only as an accessory for the neck but also to hold the hair.

Alexander Wang opted for a beanie sweater with a hole where you can let the pony tail out. This one cracks me up! LOL

Maison Martin Margiela created coats with have built-in pony tail holders. To me the most creative idea of all.

Californian highlights

by , in
In USA this trend is probably around for quite some time but here in Europe just had a boom this year.
The Californian highlights become the “it” beauty trend this summer which combine with a nice tan can turn any woman into a goddess.

These highlights leave the hair with a natural look, like if your hair was exposed to the sun for some time, with a darker base and lighter edges.

Personally I do not like to see a very intense color difference so it can be the most natural as possible.
For those who have no patience for hairdressers these highlights can also be done at home since there are brands with products that can be used by any of us, such as L'Oréal Paris.

Do you like this trend? Would you try it?

Julianne Hough: what a new haircut can do your style!

by , in
If you girls like to follow the celebrities style you´ve might already seen Julianne´s Hough new haircut. The actress cut her long blond hair and changed to a short bob.

At the time when I saw the new look I just thought "this pretty face will always look good no matter what”, but lately I’ve noticed that Julianne’s style changed since she got this new haircut.

Julianne has a doll face but she was never a fashion muse, coincidence or not since she adopted this new hair she is so more stylish and modern.

Take a look at some pictures before and after and let me know if you agree. Isn’t she so much trendier right now?

Long hair, short hair, she is beautiful anyway but as you can see in these pictures she looks to baby doll, too perfect.

The change is so noticeable; she looks more casual, more fun, fashonable, etc etc...

L’Oreal Mythic Oil

by , in
I don’t talk much about hair products as you know how difficult it is to find the right product for each type of hair. Anyway I can’t not to talk about the L’Oreal Mythic Oil collection. It’s a range of products that goes from Shampoo, conditioner, masque and four types of oil.

Believe me the products are awesome and your hair will look like silk. Of course that you don’t need to buy all the range, you can have the shampoo and the conditioner or one of the oils. I’m really picky with this kind of hair care and I really loved the result, the hair gets really smooth, nourished and shiny.

Just in: Babyliss straightener

by , in
My hair is long, straight but very very undisciplined that’s the reason that made me think for a long time about buying a hair straightener. However once I don’t have curls I always though it wouldn’t make sense to spend money on a straightener. Till finally I got one and became the happiest woman ever!

So if I had any doubts about the utility of the purchase now I’m completely convinced that yes it’s worth every single euro. No matter how good the brushes you have are no one will ever beat the Babyliss pro. Its fast, it doesn’t burn your hair if it’s a good one and your hair will look like if you came right from a saloon.

Honestly I should have bought long ago! Now I finally know it!
