Now that the cold weather is starting to vanish (cross my fingers) I can let my neck a little more relaxed and used some of the new scarves I bought.

I’m tired of the thick, wool made, and huge winter scarves that I can’t match with any clothe. I mean I can but what for? My first intention is to block the cold hair to get in my throat so I really don’t care about the rest.

But finally I can already start using my adorable scarf collection as an accessory. Come to momma!

I don’t like those usual gifts full of hearts and red lips all over, I prefer to spend my money rather in something he needs or just something that will make him laugh. Wedge sneakers

This trend was one of the biggest trends of 2012 and will go on for 2013. If you check the new collections, all the stores, brands, have new wedge sneakers for the next season.

I didn’t buy any last year but I got to try a couple recently and as soon as the rainy season goes away I will definitely end up buying a pair of these wedges.

What I like the most since I’ve tried them on is the fact it is really comfortable and trendy at the same time.

As far as I know the trend was started by the designer Isabel Marant that came up with this idea since she was a teen and when she used to put cork inside her trainers to look taller. Her sneakers became huge and the truth is that you can find them everywhere and at so many price ranges.

Metal is trendy

The metallic were big this year and now that 2012 is coming to an end and with the proximity of New Year´s Eve this trend will be more than useful.

Gold, silver and all the mix fabrics with metal included can be a good choice for the special night, no matter if it’s a dress, a blouse or whatever metal you have in your wardrobe.

Nevertheless metal can be used past December 31th. Don’t ever forget though to use this trend being careful with the accessories you mix with. Be minimal and you will always be classy!
