No matter if it’s a dress, skirt, blouse or even and accessorize, black and white, mixed in the same item, it’s going to be a trend this upcoming season.

Stripes, dots, mixed fabrics, Zara´s new collection is full of choices for this trend. I’m in love with some items. Take a look.

Men You Shouldn´t Ignore: Adrien Brody

by , in

Adrien Brody is probably the best example of what “beautiful ugly” means. “Someone who is unconventionally sexy in a wrong sort of way “just like I found in the urban dictionary definition and what a perfect definition to Brody itself!

His nose is probably his most characteristic feature and the fact is that even in his career his nose has been his lower point; the actor already broke his nose on set three times! But who cares about a big nose when a guy can be so sexy? Is what I feel when I look at him. Beauty is not in the conventional patterns but in what can make us different from others and that difference can be our best quality.

I bet most of you have seen the movie The Pianist, his acting is superb! The role won him an Academy Award for Best Actor, making him, at 29, the youngest actor ever to win the award.

Besides his acting career Brody made his runway debut as a model for Prada Men Fall/Winter 2012 show. He was also named ambassador for the Gillette Fusion ProGuide Styler and made some other campaigns for other brands such as Lacoste.

Just in: Calvin Klein Ring Spellbound

by , in

I got this CK ring for my birthday and I really like it a lot. I’m a big fan of CK jewelry and this spellbound collection is so pretty and elegant.
It’s a stainless ring in pink gold with nude leather and if you are interested there are the necklace and bracelet of the same collection.

Shourouk Jewels

by , in

I usually like to write about brands and products that I can afford but it’s a temptation not to mention something that, although it’s out of my possibilities, I truly admire. In this case I am referring to Shourouk´s jewelry, which I find a bit expensive but whose pieces are beautiful, a true work of art.

For those unfamiliar with this French designer, Shourouk Rhaiem´s collection is recognized by her Swarovski crystal cuffs, bib necklaces and dazzling drop earrings.

The designer´s pieces are normally seen in many celebrities and fashion personalities like for instance Anna Dello Russo and even Royalty members.

Freja Beha Erichsen: The face of Valentino´s perfume

by , in
When I was writing the title for this post was not sure what to put after the model´s name because being the face of Valentino´s perfume is just one of many campaigns made by this Danish model.
Most of you might know Freja from the Valentina ad but also from H&M and Zara campaigns, one of the most commercials ones she has probably made.

Her trade mark is her androgynous and fragile look but at the same time her natural, kind, and soft beauty that represents so many women worldwide.

Bracelets Crazy Pie

by , in

Have you ever heard about Crazy Pie? No, it’s not a pie that has gone crazy but a foot that will make you crazy. Confused? Crazy pie is a bracelet collection design by the Spanish brand Porto Petro. The bracelets represent Africa, the place where humanity took the first step, and that’s why it’s represented by a foot, or pie in Spanish, symbolizing the movement, strength, discovery, to come forward...

Some of the materials used are "Eco-friendly" and the collections are ephemeral, once a collection is created only lasts till the end of the cycle.
This feet collection has different color combination and I guarantee you that the bracelets are even cuter in the wrist than in the pictures.

For more information check Porto Petro website: www.portopietrocolecciones.com

Wedge sneakers

by , in

This trend was one of the biggest trends of 2012 and will go on for 2013. If you check the new collections, all the stores, brands, have new wedge sneakers for the next season.
I didn’t buy any last year but I got to try a couple recently and as soon as the rainy season goes away I will definitely end up buying a pair of these wedges.
What I like the most since I’ve tried them on is the fact it is really comfortable and trendy at the same time.

As far as I know the trend was started by the designer Isabel Marant that came up with this idea since she was a teen and when she used to put cork inside her trainers to look taller. Her sneakers became huge and the truth is that you can find them everywhere and at so many price ranges.
