New York Fashion Week Autumn/ Winter 2014 – Part I
My six favorite designers of this year´s Fashion Week
This is my complete coverage of a fashion week ever. NYFW is my
favorite event even though each one has its particularities.
If Paris FW is
considered the most artistic one, New York FW is in my opinion the trendier one
especially the ready to wear collections.
From this catwalk we will see the next trends, the clothes and styles
everyone will want to follow. I love the American style, simple, clean and retro
and the six favorite I choose could be 10, 12, 15…
It was really hard to pick my top ones and I couldn’t resume in less
than these six: Badgley Mischka; Donna Karan; Michael Kors; Vera Wang; Ralph
Lauren and Zac Posen.
The dresses are so elegant and this collection is very sophisticated.
My favorite piece is probably the last gold dress in all its glory!
Donna Karan went wild! Transparencies, sensuality, and hot colors. The
catwalk was burning and I love it. It could be my top 1. My favorite piece is
probably one of the red floating dresses.
Casual clothes with a touch of romanticism and a lot of charm. This man
can make any woman feel luxurious. My favorite piece is probably one of the
long romantic dresses.
A little gothic and punk but sooo cool. I love the bug inspirations and
the dark twist.
My favorite piece is probably one of the dramatic black dresses.
Spring colors for winter… love it. Rose, violets, light greys. It’s the
absolutely contrast with the Vera Wang collection. My favorite piece is
probably the violet fur coat.
Zac Posen and his amazing draped dresses. Everything is so pretty that
I can only imagine celebrities in the red carpet! My favorite piece is probably
the olive dress with the cape.
